Scope of Work

Creation of design specifications and models. Development of Web and Java/J2EE based applications Unit and integration, testing. Investigation into and resolution of reported defects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of databases.
• Experience with PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of the Unix/Sun Solaris environment.
• Experience with Oracle 10g and above.
• Experience developing and implementing canned reports using standardized reporting tools.
• Experience scripting ad hoc queries/reports.
• Experience with Windows servers.
• At least three (3) years experience in design, development, testing, implementation, enhancement and support of new applications in a JAVA/Oracle environment.
• At least three (3) years experience performing application testing using automated test tools.
• At least three (3) years of experience in defining and implementing web services.
• A working knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the PMI.

Desirable Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in Oracle 11g and Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Knowledge and ability to analyze the existing database for potential database performance enhancements.
• Experience establishing and attaining project goals.
• Use of WSDL and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) standards to develop web services.
• Experience on development projects deploying applications in a Unix/Sun Solaris server environment.
• Experience on development projects using J2EE Web database applications utilizing Java Server Pages, Servlets, Java Beans, Struts, Custom Tags, Tag Libraries, and Hibernate.
